Available July 2014, the newly announced XF18-135mmF3.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR looks like it will pair perfectly with the lust-worthy X-T1. It’s their first “weather resistant” lens (the X-T1 is a weather resistant camera, but with no matching lenses, the feature was only so useful until now), which simply means that the outer structures are sealed against water splashed and dust particles. Plus, while not “fast” by any means, the incredibly wide shooting range will appeal to many, myself included.
It’s available for preorder and will cost around $899. (It’s not available on Amazon, so I won’t burden you with an affiliate link—yet.)
